A/C Repair

Central A/CRepairRepeat CustomerResidential

The client had a tenant complaining that the central air-conditioning system was not working.
Upon arrival, we turned the system on, and everything activated. We then connected a computer analyzer to the outdoor condenser unit and discovered that the refrigerant charge had leaked out approximately 40%, indicating a scenario of a micro leak.
We inspected some of the piping connections but couldn’t locate any obvious refrigerant leak. In this case, we recommend adding a leak sealant and recharging the remaining refrigerant as needed.

Performed the repair mentioned above also took the opportunity and served the condenser unit for the client. Vacuum all the debris inside power wash the radiator coil clean the electrical components with a air gun.,

Then test the system differential inside the house 21°. Everything is working fine..

Please note that this is an attempt to block the leak and there’s no warranty for this service, but the client has a high success rate due to the amount of refrigerant still in the system.

A/C Tune-Up + Repair

Central A/CTune-UpRepeat CustomerResidential

The client called to report a problem with the central air-conditioning system not working.

Upon arrival, we turned the system on and observed the outdoor condenser. The compressor will turn on, but the fan would not.

When we checked the condenser capacitor, we found that the fan side of the capacitor had blown out. Fortunately, it’s beyond repair. A new capacitor is needed. Once we installed the new capacitor, we had a chance to assess the overall functionality of the system and determine that the refrigerant levels are within the proper range.

The unit is achieving an 18° differential; however, the air coming out of the condenser is extremely hot. This is due to the fact that the condenser radiator coil is very dirty internally and needed to be power washed with heavy degreaser.

With the client’s permission, we began servicing the condenser unit. We vacuumed all debris from inside the condenser, power washed the bottom and the coil several times to remove all dirt buildup, then used a brush to clean all electrical components and blew them dry with an air gun.

Inside the house, we discovered that the conversation trap had no access for cleaning. With the client’s permission, we installed a T connection, then found that the trap was clogged. If not addressed, this could lead to a conversation leak.

At this point, everything is ready to go. The system is fully cleaned and operating well.

One-year limited warranty on parts and labor for the capacitor.
